A Sense of Place: Printmaking & Collage Workshops
Arts Care and the Public Health Agency are delighted to host an event as part of the 12th year of ‘Here & Now’ The Older Peoples Arts, Health and Well-being Festival. This Annual Arts Festival offers a unique opportunity for people over the age of 60 to participate in a series of arts activities led by our team of expert Arts & Health Artists.
This year the Here & Now Festival has come to the Ardhowen and is offering places to those who love a bit of fun, chat and conversation. This year’s Festival theme is‘Living well – More Tales to Tell’
We are asking Festival participants to draw on the strong oral tradition in Ireland of passing on tales and stories from one generation to the next. Artist Genevieve Murphy will be there to guide you through the various creative processes of printmaking and collage.
The workshops will be full of chat, stories, memories and fun and to top it all you will create a beautiful artwork that will be a talking point for your family for years to come.
‘A Sense of Place’ Workshops are FREE and will take place on Fridays from 11am to 1pm starting on 14 October 2022. So for a bit of craic, book yourself a place NOW!
