Fermanagh Film Club presents NOWHERE SPECIAL
Window cleaner John is a devoted single father and the sole carer of his four-year-old son, Michael, as the child’s mother left them both after his birth. The two live a simple life together and their deep bond is apparent as they go about their day-to-day routines.
When John is diagnosed with a terminal illness, he is determined to spend his final months looking for a suitable adoptive family to care for Michael after he is gone. The heart-breaking quest to find a new loving family for his son sees the two visiting prospective parents, with John struggling to make the impossible decision.
Nowhere Special is a tender story about love, life and loss, that never descends into melodrama.
