Covid Safety

Welcome back to the Ardhowen Theatre.

We are delighted to welcome you back to Ardhowen Theatre. We want your visit to be as safe and as enjoyable as possible, so please ensure you read the following important information.

All information is subject to change in accordance with UK guidelines over the weeks/months ahead.
If your visit is not for a while, please do check back nearer the time to ensure you have the most up to date information.

Purchasing Tickets For Performances With Social Distancing In Place

The theatre is currently working a socially distanced seating plan with limited seating. When booking your seats, please select the appropriate seating bubble for your party – if there are no seats available for your group size please contact the theatre at or telephone 028 6632 5440.

When you purchase a ticket online you will receive an e-ticket attached to your email confirmation.  You will need to show this to our front of house team on arrival on a digital device, or as a physical print-out.  If you have problems printing your ticket, please make a note of your order number and contact the box office in advance of the performance.

Contact Tracing

To support the Contact Tracing Service (which is operated by the Public Health Agency in Northern Ireland) we have decided to collect and keep a limited record of visitors who come onto our premises for the purpose of contact tracing. Contact details for all attendees over the age of 16 must be submitted at the time of booking. All attendee details will be stored for 21 days from the date of the event.

Booking With Confidence

We’ve updated our Terms and Conditions to give you greater flexibility to change your booking if you or a member of your bubble are displaying Covid-19 symptoms and must self-isolate.

If you develop Covid-19 symptoms simply get in touch with us before 5pm the evening before the performance (email or call 028 6632 5440) and we will exchange your ticket for another performance, or a credit for the purchase price of your tickets.

Before You Arrive

Please do not visit the theatre if you are feeling unwell or have been identified as a close contact of someone with COVID-19

Remember your face covering, it must be worn at all times within all areas of our building. If you are exempt from wearing a face covering please let our front of house team know as soon as you arrive.

Where possible, please do not bring extra bags and coats into the theatre, to reduce clutter at your seats.

We have increased the circulation of fresh air throughout the building so it might be cooler than you are used to. You may want to bring an extra layer, just in case.

When You Arrive

When you arrive, we will ask you and all the members of your party to check in with our Front of House staff.  You will be shown directly to your seat; please note, under the current restrictions there will be no interval or bar service before or after the performance.

Inside The Theatre

Enhanced hygiene procedures are in place and hand sanitising stations are positioned throughout the public spaces for audience members to use.

Please follow directional signage and adhere to social distancing and one-way systems when using our front of house spaces.

Please keep your masks on for the duration of the performance.

Further COVID information is available on Fermanagh and Omagh District Council’s website
