TeaForTwo Theatre Company proudly presents a double bill of comedy that celebrates both the hilariously awkward side of everyday life and the gloriously farcical world of classic theatre, with two brilliant one-act plays!
2 Friends and Social Anxiety is an original piece that offers a warm, witty and painfully relatable look at two people navigating modern life while battling social anxiety. From awkward trips to the shops to the dread of parties and family encounters, even the simplest tasks become epic challenges. Tender, comedic and bursting with heart, this piece shines a light on the struggles many know all too well.
Following this is the timeless farce Black Comedy by Peter Shaffer. Struggling sculptor Brindsley Miller and his fiancée Carol host a disastrous dinner party in hopes of impressing a wealthy art collector and Carol’s overbearing father. When a blown fuse plunges the flat into darkness, chaos reigns. With borrowed furniture, surprise visitors, and the audience as the only ones who can “see” what’s happening, the result is a whirlwind of misunderstandings, physical comedy and laugh-out-loud moments.
Founded by local theatre maker Ryan Moohan, TeaForTwo Theatre Company is dedicated to showcasing Fermanagh’s talent while nurturing performers both new to the stage and seasoned alike. With experience spanning local productions, professional touring, and the Edinburgh Fringe, TeaForTwo is excited to bring fresh energy, creativity and community spirit to the spotlight.
